Locomotive Part Manufacturer, Miller Felpax
Names New Senior Sales Associate for Canada
-
Winona, Minnesota, 25 May 2011 – Miller Felpax Corporation
announced today the appointment of Keith Gilbert as Senior
Account Executive for Canada. Keith will be responsible
for the sales and execution of Miller Felpax’s growth
strategies in these regions.
"Keith is a great addition to our sales team,” said Dave Fisher, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “His background in the railway industry is a perfect fit for Miller Felpax to build upon the great success we’ve developed over the last 60 years. This is a time of business growth in Canada and Keith has ideal sales training for such a fast-growing environment," added Fisher. "With his vast experience and expertise in the field, Miller Felpax will be well positioned to keep a strong market share in Canada for years to come."
Keith began his career with Canadian National Railway (CN) as an electrician’s apprentice in Montreal. After completing the program, he moved to the CN Technical Research Center where he spent 11 years in Research and Development. Thereafter, Keith transferred as a Technical Officer specializing in locomotive performance evaluation.
Building on his technical foundation, he left CN to start a sales career with Q-Tron Electronics in business development and later relocated to Calgary as Vice President of Sales. Since that time Keith has further diversified his sales experience with stints at NRE-Alco, GE Transportation (locomotive and marine) and Hulcher Services.
